It’s in this context that the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organizes under the patronage of His excelleny Minister of Trade in collaboration with SAFEX, the 2nd edition of the International Exhibition of Equipments for Trade«Tijara Equip Expo» from 18th to 21st April 2016 at the Palais des Expositions Pins Maritimes, Hall B in Algiers.
The number of the commercial areas in Algeria at the end of September 2015 is 2961 parceled out in 2568 mini markets, 341 supermarkets and 52 hypermarkets.
Brought back among inhabitants, these figures are tiny compared with the developed countries.
It appears that the retail trade in Algeria is an important market and has the potential for significant growth for everything related to equipment operations, development, decoration in addition, design of retail outlets.
The growth perspectives of this market is favored by the growth of the population (about 40 million inhabitants), the trend of information usage generalization, progress recorded in the fields of advertising, the fight against the informal market led by the public authorities, the opening of the Algerian market to the international brands which settles down through franchises, the investment in projects of creation of shopping malls and the ambitious programs of investments launched by the Algerian public authorities in the field of the building of local markets
